Creates a shape for ISO 8601 calendar date values (YYYY-MM-DD).

Fixes the datatype to xsd:date and bounds the month, the day and the optional timezone offset to their legal ranges. As a limitation of the lexical check, a day is bounded to 31 whatever month it falls in, so 2026-02-31 is admitted: callers needing a date the calendar carries check the day against the month themselves.
